Computers at the centre

About - Centre facilities and resources

There are three computers at the front desk which are available for the public to use. No membership is required and there is a 20 minute time limit. Printing for job or school is free up to 5 pages.

The computer lab has 10 computers and is open to centre members from opening until 3pm Monday to Friday. Members may sign up for up to 2 hours. From 3pm on, the lab is reserved for children and program use.

 

Games Room

Ping-Pong and Pool available.  Centre membership required.

 

Darkroom and Photo Club

About - Centre facilities and resources
  • Darkroom is for community use only
  • Valid Centre membership is required prior to booking the darkroom
  • Darkroom orientation with the photography instructor must be completed prior to booking the darkroom
  • Darkroom fee for personal use: $5 for 2.5—3 hour session
  • Darkroom fee for professional use: $8 for 4—5 hour session
  • Darkroom fees must be paid prior to using the darkroom
  • Ray-Cam supplies all chemicals needed to develop film and photos. Under no circumstances are outside chemicals to be used in the darkroom.
  • Ray-Cam does not supply photo paper
  • Maximum 2 times/per week rental
  • All darkroom participants are responsible to keep darkroom clean and tidy
  • Failure to comply with the guidelines will result in loss of darkroom privileges

Photo Club

Tuesday 5—8 pm   Thursday 9:30—11:30 am

Open to both teens and adults. Learn basic photography and film developing techniques. Registration is required. Membership is required for use of the darkroom.

 

Outdoor Basketball Court

About - Centre facilities and resources

 The basketball court is for community use only. All participants must respect the following guidelines.

  • A Community Centre Membership is required to use the court.
  •  Please register and check in before using the court. A sign-up sheet is located at the upstairs front desk.
  • This facility is unsupervised and patrons are responsible for their own safety.
  • Minimum of 3 youths are required to use the court. Children in grade 6 or younger require adult or staff supervision.

 Centre programs have priority over public use.

The court is monitored by a security system.

 HOURS OF OPERATION

Monday to Friday
9:30 am to 9:00 pm

Saturday 10:30 am to 4:30 pm
Sunday 12:30 pm to 4:30 pm
